Thanks to a microscope the dentist is able to clean the canal properly. The RVG machine shows exactly the part of the canal that is being treated. You can be sure that the problem will not return.
Endodontics is necessary in cases where an untreated cavity attacks the dental pulp, which is a live matter inside the tooth. The nerve endings are not protected, and they hurt. Sometimes the pain subsides but unfortunately, that means that the inflammation spread and the tooth is dead. Bacteria spread even further and pose a risk to the overall health of the patient.
Prompt action is necessary. We will remove the cavity, clean the canal and disinfect it. We will then fill it with a special material that bacteria cannot get through.
